Dmitry Sklyarov is Head of Reverse Engineering at Positive Technologies. Former
Security Researcher at Elcomsoft and a lecturer at Moscow State Technical
University. He did a research on the security of eBooks, authentication of
digital photos, smartphone forensics and Intel’s Management Engine internals.
His work has been presented at many conferences, including BlackHat, Troopers,
Confidence.
Over the past two decades, the world around us has significantly changed. There
are new professions, new technologies and, of course, new problems with attempts
to solve them. I was lucky to be involved in one of the most interesting and
dynamic areas of modern times - Information Security. In my talk, I want to
discuss how the world of information security has changed for me as a researcher
in the process of my development, and how I see it now. And why is InfoSec worth
your effort ;)
